We enrolled Dictator in (half-)day camps for the next two weeks because her sitter will be on vacation and I really really don’t want to miss my morning porch-coffee social interaction and new experiences are really good for kids. 

I’m reading the fine print on these day camps, and I have to pack her a snack. Every. Day.

I’ve never had to pack my child a snack (that I wasn’t also sharing) in my life.

What constitutes a snack? What if I pack too much? What if I pack too little? Do I have to pack a drink, too? The fine print doesn’t specify. What if all the other kids have “cool” snacks and I pack my kid a muffin and an apple? 

This is too much pressure.
